Significant regeneration activity is underway across Nottingham to build new homes, to develop local transport infrastructure and open up key development sites in and across the city for regeneration.
As well as regenerating areas across Nottingham , these projects aim to attract inward investment to drive growth, increase local employment opportunities and create communities where people want and choose to live.
As part of our ‘Build a Better Nottingham housing programme, Nottingham City Council aims to ensure 2,500 new homes are built (2015-2019) which Nottingham people can afford to buy or rent. This will be from the Private Sector, as well as our own ambitious Council Housing Programme. With or partners Nottingham City Homes, we have embarked on the biggest council housing programme in a generation, building new, environmentally friendly, affordable social housing for Nottingham families. This map shows how we’re creating new council homes and below is a summary of some of the housing schemes we have and are currently developing.
