As an important part of the city's heritage, Sneinton Market has been subject to significant investment to improve the area and reinvigorate the site as a focal point for Nottingham's emerging creative sector.
Former wholesale buildings at Sneinton Market were recently transformed as part of the council’s vision for the regeneration of Sneinton Market, helping to realise the vision for the market to grow a lively community of businesses, artists and organisations with a focus on creative industries. The buildings, which have been refurbished by construction firm Wates, offer workshops and studio spaces of varying sizes suitable for creative sector Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) on flexible market terms. Physical works to redevelop units of the market’s avenues A to C completed in late 2015.
