Examination of the Local Plan Part 2
As part of the Local Plan Review the Submission Version of the Land and Planning Policies – Local Plan Part 2 (LAPP) and all supporting documents were submitted to the Government for examination on 23 April 2018. Beverley Doward BSc BTP MRTPI has been appointed to conduct the examination. The Inspector has now issued her latest Examination Programme for the hearing sessions which will commence Tuesday 20 November 2018.
Draft Waterside Supplementary Planning Document
The Council is consulting on a Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) for the Waterside area of the city. The consultation period will run for a 6 week period from Monday 5 November to Monday 17 December (5pm) 2018. To help shape development proposals for Waterside, the SPD will set out the type, form, scale and density of development expected at the Waterside. Once the guidance is adopted by the Council, the SPD will be a material consideration in how planning applications for development at the Waterside are determined.
