Previously known as Fletcher Gate, the Lace Market Car Park is operated by Nottingham City Council. Payment can be made by coins, banknotes or credit/debit card. American Express is not accepted.

Park for five hours for £5 when you enter between 3pm and 5pm on any day of the week in the Lace Market Car Park.

Motorcycle parking (You must park within designated areas. Penalty Charge Notices will be issued for non-compliance)


Sunday max fee (Park here on Sundays and pay no more than £6.00 all day. Entry must be after 12:01am and exit must be before 11:59pm)


Electric charge points

There are two charge points now available for public use on the first floor ( Level 4)  of the car park.

Blue Badge Holders

The provision of free parking for Blue Badge holders no longer applies to Lace Market Car Park, Blue Badge bays will continue to be provided but normal-parking charges will apply.

There are Blue Badge parking spaces in other  locations that enable Blue Badge holder’s to park for free for up to 4 hours in Curzon Street, Sneinton Market Square, Nottingham Arena, Motorpoint Arena (3 hours free parking) and Nottingham Castle Car Parks, in on-street parking bays and park on single or double yellow lines for up to three hours.

It should be noted that this car park is not suitable for Motorhome parking. Long vehicles may need to take extra care when using the ramps inside the car park.
